These are the rules and qualifying tournaments for the OWF Best Club in Oregon Award. Points will be accumulated throughout the season and final tallies will be totaled at after Fargo(Cadet/Junior Nationals). Like my Wrestler of the Year award, some tournaments will be worth more than others based on level of difficulty.
Majority of these events are regional based, with a mix of Top National level events. The idea is to encourage kids/teams to compete more year around to accumulate as many points as possible for their club and to encourage participation at all events. It is also designed to keep from loading up only a couple of tournaments. We want an Oregon Club of the Year, not a club of just a certain part of the season. It is also designed to award any club, regardless of affiliation. This is an OWF Award only and will be treated as such.
By next year, I will re-evaluate things and make tweeks where necessary.
